A "word" refers to any text that is processed by a language model, whether it's part of a message you send, a response from the model, or any additional content such as persona descriptions, contextual prompts, YouTube transcripts, and website contents included in the conversation.

Each time you hit the "Send" button in a conversation, the entire conversationis sent for processing. This means that every word from the beginning of the conversation to your latest message is counted towards your monthly word limit. It's not just the last message you sent, but the full dialogue that's taken into account.

For example: If your conversation already contains 50 words and you send a message of 10 words, the whole conversation of 60 words is sent to your selected model and therefore 60 words are added to your word count.

To clarify further:

• Basic Words: These are words processed by our basic language models, like GPT 3.5 turbo. Each word in the conversation that goes through this model is counted as one basic word.
• Advanced Words: These are words processed by our advanced language models, such as GPT-4. Similarly, each word in the conversation that goes through this model is counted as one advanced word.
